    Smørrebrød / Open faced sandwiches

The kitchen is based on traditional Danish cooking with respect for the past and sense of the future. You can get an exquisite Danish smørrebrød (open-faced sandwich) inspired by the current season.

The tower is built as a part of the third and current Christiansborg Castle that was built in the period between 1907 – 1928. For almost hundred years the only guests in the tower were pigeons and men without any fear of heights that went there to raise the flag on the top of the tower. However, in 2014 the Danish Parliament decided to open the tower for visual and gastronomic experiences, allowing everyone to enter the viewing platform 44 meters above the ground. The platform is placed directly above the restaurant, whose visitors are the obvious target group for Meyers to invite inside in order to add an extra tasteful dimension to their visit in the tower of Christiansborg.
