Godis Grønt

Godis Grønt is a small organic farm in Lejre, where more than 60 vegetable varieties are grown with care, regenerative principles, and a focus on biodiversity. Here, the land is not worked against nature, but with it - in a living interplay between plant roots, microorganisms, and people.

The fields are never left bare but are part of a circular crop rotation, where the soil is always covered and photosynthesis is active year-round. This strengthens soil life, reduces the need for irrigation and external inputs - and enhances the resilience and flavor of the plants.

As farmer and founder Frederik Sahlin puts it: “The healthier the soil, the healthier the vegetables. It is not just about yield, but about rebuilding the ecosystem our food comes from - and creating vegetables with both depth and purpose.“

Vegetables from Godis Grønt are sold locally and to kitchens that share the ambition of combining quality, responsibility, and great taste - and that value ingredients grown with the same craftsmanship and long-term perspective as good gastronomy.
